I. Program Plan (2008-2011)

Aims:

1. To arouse and develop students’ interest in the past.
2. To help students to understand the present in the context of the past.
3. To contribute to students’ knowledge and understanding of their own community and culture, as well as other major cultures of the world.
4. To train the mind of the students by introducing them to distinctive skills employed by historians.
5. To prepare students for adult life and citizenship.

Objectives:

1. Acquired knowledge and understanding of the world.
2. Mastered study skills, such as analytical skills, organizational skills etc.
3. Developed positive values and attitudes that will enable them to become responsible citizens with a sense of national identity and a global perspective.
