I. Program Plan (2008-2011)

Aims:       

  1. To promote an awareness of needs of the family and of the community.
  2. To foster an aesthetic sense and to stimulate ideas of creativity.
  3. Promoting the well-being of individuals, families, societies and the world as a whole.
  4. As informed consumers and responsible citizens.
  5. Introduce and explore issues and concerns related to food and clothing from different perspective and dimensions.

Objectives:

  1. Students can do simple cooking and cleaning. They can prepare and make simple meals with modern cooking wares for their family.  They know how to choose and use the newly invented cleaning applicants and cleaning agents.
  2. Students can do simple sewing and machining.  They can make one or two articles for themselves or their family.  They know the textile development and how to choose suitable fabrics for different occasions.
  3. Students can take care themselves and their family members.  They can choose right type of food and know how the importance of balance diets.
