Hong Kong students had a special summer vacation in April. Our school suspended classes, but our students did not stop learning. On April 30, Principal Ms. Cheung led our school's reading ambassadors to exchange ideas with New Taipei Municipal DanFeng High School, New Taipei Municipal Zhuwei High School and Elegantia College. An online deep reading event was held. The goal of the activity is to deepen the interpretation of texts through reading and discussion, and to arouse students' interest in studying literary works.

The activity uses modern poetry as the discussion text, so that students can participate actively as poetry can easily trigger students' emotions. During the activity, students conducted group discussions, which stimulated their thinking. They were supported and complemented by their peers.

This exchange allowed students from both places to demonstrate their extraordinary language learning ability. Teachers encouraged students to ask questions and enthusiastically share their feelings about reading poetry. It was a profound and valuable exchange.
