To celebrate our students' fruitful learning outcomes, our junior form students had the opportunity to showcase the talents and skills they acquired from Life-wide Learning lessons throughout the year.
The event featured a series of captivating, student-led performances in the school hall. Highlights included an enchanting magic show, a precision flying demonstration in drone coding, and an innovative drama by the Aviation Experience class that analyzed the causes of aircraft accidents. Students also demonstrated exceptional coordination by performing a rhythmic Chinese variety arts plate-spinning routine set to music and displayed athletic vitality in a pickleball exhibition match—a featured new sport.
Students' achievements were also showcased across the following domains:
•    Intellectual Development: STEAM learning included MakeCode Game Design, Dobot Robotic Arm Programming, and Strategic Board Game projects. In addition, the fusion of technology and art shone in AI Comic Generation and Digital Illustration with Procreate, while the Gardening and Chinese Medicine class explored nature from both scientific and cultural perspectives.
•    Aesthetic Development: This domain showcased artworks from a variety of classes, including elegant Chinese Calligraphy and Painting, creative Makeup and Styling, and fun Balloon Modeling. Additionally, new handicraft classes featured intricate Zentangle art, fluid paintings, and mosaic coasters.
•    Physical Development & Practical Skills: Alongside the dynamic sports demonstrations, students in the cooking class shared delicious handmade treats, such as puff pastry cookies, red bean pancakes, and chocolate cupcakes.
The success of the event not only reflects our students' multifaceted talents but also demonstrates STMC’s commitment to holistic development.
