To promote Patriotic Education and deepen students’ national identity, our school recently attended the launching ceremony of the thematic exhibition "Unswerving Original Aspiration; Steadfast Conviction: The 90th Anniversary of the Victory of the Red Army's Long March".「初心不改信念如磐:紅軍長征勝利九十周年」 Organised by the Education Bureau and co-organised by the Patriotic Education Centre, the momentous event was officiated by the Chief Executive, Mr John Lee Ka-Chiu, alongside distinguished guests including the Secretary for Education, Dr Choi Yuk-lin.
The exhibition provided students with a vivid overview of the Long March 90 years ago. Through interactive displays and historical exhibits, students gained valuable insights into this historic journey, appreciating the core spirits of perseverance, unity, and steadfast conviction in the face of great adversity.
A remarkable highlight of the visit was that our student representatives, 4B Lo Pak Ching and Chow Ching Leong , had the valuable opportunity to introduce key sections of the exhibition to the Secretary for Education, Dr Choi Yuk-lin, sharing their thoughts and learning outcomes with poise and confidence. Aligned closely with the objectives of Patriotic Education and Values Education, this meaningful experience inspired our students to embody the Long March spirit of resilience in their daily lives and aspire to contribute positively to our country and society.
