Life Camp took place from 12 th to 14th July this year. This annual religious camp, jointly organized by the Religious Education Committee and Shatin Methodist Church, welcomes Form 1 students along with senior student leaders. Alumni members of Shatin Methodist Church prepared a variety of games and activities for the participants.
The three-day, two-night camp was held at the HKFYG Jockey Club Sai Kung Outdoor Training Camp, focusing on encouraging Form 1 students to reflect on their relationship with Jesus.
A highlight of the camp is the religious program held on the second night. It began with Sensor, the worship team from Shatin Methodist Church, leading the worship session. Next, Uji Wong, a Form 6 student, shared her testimony about building her relationship with God and the church. Finally, our Assistant School Chaplain, Mr. K.H. Ng, delivered a message from the Bible.
In total, 42 Form 1 students, 6 senior student leaders, and over 20 church members participated in the camp. We are grateful that many students continue to engage with the Shatin Methodist Church Youth Zone after the camp.
