Aims

  1. To develop creativity, ability to appreciate music and to effectively communicate through music;
  2. To nurture aesthetic sensitivity; and
  3. To gain enjoyment and satisfaction through participating in music activities.

Objectives for the Year

  1. Equip our students to master 21st-century global competencies and transform them into future-ready individuals.
  2. Through Social Emotional Learning, cultivate students' intrapersonal and interpersonal competencies, enhance well-being, and equip for the future through joining and organizing various music activities.
  3. Strengthening our teachers through professional learning communities to meet the future educational needs for our students.

5    Our Treble Voice Choir delivering a stunning performance at Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU)
during the Music Festival.
 
6    A captivating Zheng solo by Alice Fan (4A), performing "The Sun Shines Red over Jinggang Mountain" (井岡山上太陽紅). Alice showcased superb technical accuracy and a driving rhythm, beautifully contrasted by a soft, lyrical middle section. It was a thoroughly enjoyable performance!
 
7    An enchanting Pipa solo by Aurora Yau (5E), performing "Dance of the Yao Tribe" (瑤族舞曲). Aurora demonstrated outstanding technique and deep musicality. Truly wonderful!
 
8    Exploring the intersection of music and heritage: Our cultural tour to Vienna and Salzburg, joint-organized by the Music and History panels, in Summer, 2025.
 
9    A memorable visit to the prestigious Golden Hall in Vienna.
 
10    An unforgettable choral workshop led by a master instructor from the Vienna Boys Choir. We took on the challenge of W.A. Mozart’s "Dies Irae"—a demanding piece that pushed our boundaries and resulted in a fantastic effort!
 
11-30    Our Year-end School Concert, “The Melodic Palette,” was successfully held on July 9th, 2026! After months of hard work and dedication throughout the year, our talented musicians, backstage team, and supporting crew were fully prepared and delivered a truly spectacular showcase.
